DDoT System Map (unofficial) updated
It was a long time since the last update, since significant steps had been made in the direction of a better articulation between the different public transit operators in the whole region, as well as new services put in place, it was high time for the map to show them.
New major elements involving adaptations:
– the opening of the Qline (M1 Rail), the streetcar line serving the lower third of Woodward (going from Congress up to the New Center area);
– SMART “FAST” services on three arteries, Woodward, Gratiot, Michigan, all of first importance for the city and the whole urban area linking the CBD with other hubs along structural corridors;
– addition of other SMART main routes at key points (transfer possibilities between SMART and DDoT besides the three above-mentioned arteries).
